Once you download the app, you’ll create a personalized profile that tailors your learning experience based on your academic preferences and goals. This not only allows for customized study sessions but also helps you connect with others studying similar subjects.
When you first start using BrainX, you'll be given 20 energy points. Each tutoring session you request deducts 5 energy points, allowing free users to participate in up to 4 sessions per month. At the start of each month, your energy balance is automatically refilled. Tutors earn 5 energy points for each session they provide, encouraging active participation. After each session, both the student and tutor can leave reviews and ratings. Students rate tutors on their effectiveness, while tutors can provide feedback on the student's engagement and collaboration.
BrainX features a 6-tier ranking system where users advance by accumulating points through tutoring and other in-app activities. As users progress through the ranks, from Spark to Supernova, they unlock various rewards.
